Operating Procedure of Moisture Balance
1.0 Objective
To lay down a guidelines for operating procedure of Moisture Balance in Quality Control Department.
2.0 Scope
This SOP applies to operating of Moisture Balance used in Quality control Lab in abc company.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 Clean the Moisture Balance thoroughly, Switch on the main power supply.
5.2 Open the lid and place the empty aluminum dish on balance and adjust the weighing knob on “0” position.
5.3 Place the sample approximately 5.0 g on the dish, and note the weight on weighing scale.
5.4 Now switch on the heater and adjust the temperature-by-temperature knob.
5.5 When required temperature is shown by thermometer start the stopper watch for required time according to the test parameter.
5.6 After time completed note the weighing scale value.
