PROCEDURE:
1.0 Description:
Take 1 corrugated box from each container sampled and check visually the corrugated box as per specification and record the observations. Check the colour of the box as per specification. Check for the no. of ply and check whether box is properly closed or not.
2.0 Pasting:
Check the pasting of the individual layer of the corrugated box as per specification and record the observations.
3.0 Length:
Check the length of the corrugated box with calibrated measuring tape and record the observation, and consider average of the readings and record as a result. Result should be complying as per the specification.
4.0 Width:
Check the width of the corrugated box with calibrated measuring tape and record the observation, and consider average of the readings and record as a result. Result should be complying as per the specification
5.0 Height:
Check the height of the corrugated box with calibrated measuring tape and record the observations, and consider average of the readings and record as a result. Result should be complying as per the specification
6.0 Number of ply:
Check the no. of ply of the corrugated box and record the observation as a result. Result should be complying as per the specification.
8.0 Bursting Strength:
Check the bursting strength of the corrugated box with bursting strength tester and record the observations, and consider average of the readings and record as a result. Result should be complying as per the specification.
9.0 Formation of corrugated box: Check each & every part of corrugated box, shape should be proper, flap should be equal & proper.
