1.0 OBJECTIVE
1.1 To describe a procedure for maintenance of equipment logbook.
2.0 SCOPE
2.1 This procedure is applicable to all equipment used in production sections .
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY
3.1 Concern Officer/Executive shall enter the operation and cleaning details in equipment log book.
3.2 Concern Officer/Executive shall execute this SOP.
4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY
4.1 Department Head
5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 The equipment shall clean and operate as per respective SOP of equipment.
5.2 The operation details of equipment shall be recorded as per Format No.
5.3 The concern Officer/Executive shall enter the operation details in equipment log book of respective equipment.
5.4 The cleaning details of equipment shall be recorded as per Format No.
5.5 The concern Officer/Executive shall enter the cleaning details in equipment log book of respective equipment.
5.6 The concern Officer/Executive shall enter the breakdown details in equipment log book of respective equipment as per Format No.
5.7 While recording the operation and cleaning activity, SOP for ‘Good Documentation Practices’, SOP No. shall followed strictly.
5.8 Equipment log book shall keep near to equipment location.
5.9 The logbook shall issue by QA and after completion of the logbook, it should be reviewed by both Production and QA.
6.0 TRAINING
6.1 Trainer – Head of department.
6.2 Trainee – All concern person.
6.3 Period – One hour or as per required.
7.0 DISTRIBUTION
7.1 One set of master copy & controlled copy submitted the quality assurance department.
