sop for Cleaning of RLAF Filters in Warehouse

1.0 Objective
To lay down a procedure for cleaning of RLAF Filters in Warehouse.
2.0 Scope
This Standard Operating Procedure is applicable for cleaning of RLAF Filters in

Warehouse to be followed at formulation plants of A B C Company.
3.0 Responsibility
3.1 Officer/Executive warehouse shall be responsible for Cleaning of RLAF Filters in Warehouse.
3.2 Officer/ Executive Engineering department shall be responsible for cleaning of RLAF filters cleaning.
3.3 Head Warehouse shall be responsible for implementation of this SOP.
3.4 Head QA or his designee shall be responsible for compliance of this SOP.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 Precaution
5.1.1 Ensure that the main switch is “OFF”.
5.1.2 Any break down related to filter shall be reported on “Work Request Card” (refer as per Annexure-1)

and inform to engineering department.
5.2 Pre Filter Cleaning
5.2.1 Unscrew the panels.
5.2.2 Remove the Pre-filter and keep it in polybag.
5.2.3 Send it to the filter cleaning area.
5.2.4 Follow respective filter cleaning SOP of engineering department SOP No
5.2.5 Frequency: whenever required.
5.3 Intermediate Filter
5.3.1 Unscrew the panels.
5.3.2 Remove the Pre-filter and keep it in polybag.
5.3.3 Send it to the filter cleaning area.
5.3.4 Follow respective filter cleaning SOP of engineering department SOP No.
5.3.5 Frequency: whenever required.
