1.0 Objective
To lay down a procedure for cleaning of dispensing tools.
2.0 Scope
This Standard Operating Procedure is applicable for cleaning of dispensing tools to be followed

at formulation plants of abc company.
3.0 Responsibility
3.1 Officer/Executive warehouse shall be responsible for ensuring the cleaning of dispensing tools.
3.2 Head Warehouse shall be responsible for implementation of this SOP.
3.3 Head QA or designee shall be responsible for compliance of this SOP.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 General Conditions
5.1.1 Keep “TO BE CLEANED” or “CLEANED” scoops at their respective places.
5.1.2 Ensure the use of water for cleaning.
5.2 Procedure of cleaning
5.2.1 Wear hand gloves and transfer the container labeled as “To Be Cleaned” dispensing Tools to Washroom.
5.2.2 Take the scoop one by one and wash with purified water.
5.2.3 Rub the scoop with scrubber.
5.2.4 Hold the scoop under purified water.
5.2.5 Clean the scoop by scrubbing under stream of purified water.
5.2.6 Follow step no. 2 to 4 using purified water.
5.2.7 Wipe the scoop with clean lint free duster.
5.2.8 Ensure all corners of the scoop are clean.
5.2.9 After drying of it into hot air oven for drying.
5.2.10 Sanitize with 70% IPA Solution.
5.2.11 Place single scoop in a polythyene bag and keep in container labeled as “Cleaned Dispensing Tools”.
5.2.12 Follow the procedure to clean all the Scoops & record shall be maintained as per respective QA SOP No.
