sop for Temperature Mapping

1.0 OBJECTIVE:
1.1 To lay down a procedure for Temperature Mapping of area and equipment.
2.0 SCOPE:
2.1 This Standard Operating Procedure is applicable for Temperature Mapping of area and equipment’s
3.0 RESPONSIBILITY:
3.1 Officer / Executive
4.0 ACCOUNTABILITY:
4.1 Head – QA
5.0 PROCEDURE:
Temperature mapping of area and equipments with respect to required controlled temperature and RH in working condition:
5.1 Temperature mapping done by outside agency.
5.2 Perform the temperature mapping as per protocol.
5.3 Place the data loggers at defined positions in area and equipments in such a manner that geometrically

covers the whole area (which is also mentioned respective diagram).
5.4 Hang the data loggers at different positions and different heights inside the area and equipments.
5.5 Start the temperature mapping activity and continue the study as per described time and frequency in protocol.
5.6 After completion of temperature mapping, take the print out of the recorded data.
5.7 Attach the raw data of observed value of temperature and RH during study with temperature mapping

report along with trends study and calibration certificates of the used data loggers.
