1.0 OBJECTIVE
1.1 To lay down a procedure for Cleaning of Instrument, Instrument bench and surrounding area of Quality
Control Laboratory.

2.1 This SOP is applicable for Cleaning of Instrument, Instrument bench and surrounding area of Quality Control
Laboratory

5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Requirements
5.1.1 Lint free cloth
5.1.2 Purified water
5.1.3 70% IPA
5.2 Instrument Cleanings
5.2.1 Clean instruments before and after each use by dry lint free cloth .
5.2.2 If any spot seen on the instruments remove it by using 70% IPA followed by dry lint free cloth.
5.2.3 To clean computer system with Monitor use dry lint free cloth only.
5.3 Instrument bench & surrounding area cleaning
5.3.1 Take lint free cloth and wet with purified water and mop the Instrument bench and surrounding area.
5.3.2 Use 70% IPA to remove any spot on the bench of Instruments.

5.5.1 Do not use any solvent in cleaning of instruments.
5.5.2 Do not clean any sophisticated instrument by wet lint free cloth.
5.5.3 Always use Purified water for mopping of instruments bench and surrounding area.
5.5.4 Do not use any acid and base for cleaning of instrument bench and surrounding area.
5.5.5 don’t use wet lint free cloth for cleaning of surrounding electric circuit.
5.6 Checking Frequency : Twice a day
