1.0 Objective
To lay down a procedure for operation of vacuum cleaner in warehouse.
2.0 Scope
This Standard Operating Procedure is applicable for Operation of Vacuum cleaner in Warehouse to be followed at formulation plants of A B C Pvt. Ltd.
3.0 Responsibility
3.1 Officer / Executive warehouse shall be responsible to ensure operation of vacuum cleaner.
3.2 Head Warehouse is responsible for implementation of this SOP.
3.3 Head QA or his designee shall be responsible for compliance of this SOP.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 Operation of vacuum cleaner to be carried out on every working day on receipt of each consignment.
5.2 Connect the top with power supply and ensure that plug is properly inserted into the socket then put “ON” the switch.
5.3 Ensure that vacuum cleaner is “ON”.
5.4 Use flexible hosepipe along with accessories as per requirement to collect the dust from respective

area for batch to batch cleaning.
5.5 De-dust all the incoming materials wherever required.
5.6 Clean the floor, walls etc. wherever dry suction is required.
5.7 After cleaning switch “OFF” the power.
5.8 Unplug from the socket.
5.9 Keep in the dedicated place (Red Mark area).
