To lay down procedural for ensuring of proper handling of non-recoverable residues of and ointment.
2.0 Scope
This Standard Operating Procedure is applicable to proper handling of non-recoverable residues at abc company.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 Handling of Non-Recoverable Residues Continue the ointment filling operation as per respective
Standard Operating Procedure until the total quantity of the batch is over or until the shift end.
5.2 Defoil the entire quantity of the rejected tube.
5.3 Collect all the cream/ointment/tablets on the floor in a designated container having water and
consider the same as non-recoverable residues.
5.4 Put the non-recoverable residues of cream/ointment in the designated container having potable water.
5.5 At the end of the shift, dispose of the slurry of the non-recoverable residues by draining off in the washing area.
5.6 Reconciliation of Non-Recoverable Residues.
5.7 Reconcile and record the same in Batch Packing Record.
