entry and exit procedure in microbiology laboratory
1.0 OBJECTIVE
1.1 To lay down a procedure for entry & exit procedure in microbiology laboratory.
2.0 SCOPE
2.1 This procedure is applicable to all employees/staff/worker/visitor entry & exit from microbiology laboratory

5.0 PROCEDURE
5.1 Entry Procedure
5.2 First change room
5.2.1 Push the door and enter in 1st change room in microbiology section.
5.2.2 Wear out your street footwear and keep at designated place.
5.2.3 Pull the door and enter in 2nd change room.
5.3 Second change room
5.3.1 Sit on the cross over bench and swing his/her feet, to cross the cross over bench.
5.3.2 Open the door of Dress cabinet ,Take clean cap ,mask & Apron and wear it.
5.3.3 Wear, company foot wear from designated place.
5.3.4 Check your complete out fit in mirror.
5.3.5 Sanitize the hand with 70% IPA , pull the door and enter in the Microbiology lab.
5.4 PROCEDURE FOR VISITOR
5.4.1 Push the door and enter in to 1st change room.
5.4.2 Read and follow the direction for given in display SOP.
5.4.3 Enter in 2nd change room.
5.4.4 Sit on the cross over bench put on the shoe cover over shoe, ensure the while wear feet don’t touch the floor.
5.4.5 Swing your feet and cross over the bench.
5.4.6 Open the door (His/Her) of Dess cabinet, take clean cap mask & Apron for visitor and wear it.
5.4.7 Check his/her out fit in mirror
5.4.8 Sanitize hand with 70% IPA, pull door and enter in microbiology lab.
6.0 Exit procedure in Microbiology laboratory
6.1 Remove Apron & cap place in SS waste bin.
6.2 Remove footwear place in SS bench.
6.3 Sit on cross over bench & cross, wear own footwear who place in 2nd change room.
6.4 While wear own street foot wear than exit in microbiology laboratory.
6.1 Exit procedure for visitor
6.1.1 Visitor enter in 1st change room, cross the cross over bench & enter in change room 2n
6.1.2 Remove your mask & shoe cover place in ss bin, than remove cap or Apron place in other ss bin.
6.1.3 Then exit microbiology lab.
