1.1 To lay down the Procedure for Temperature & Relative Humidity Monitoring of Microbiology Laboratory.
2.1 This procedure applicable for Temperature & Relative Humidity Monitoring of Microbiology Laboratory

5.2.1 Use Calibrated Hygrometer for monitoring.
5.2.2 Observe the Temperature & RH with the help of hygrometer located in the respective rooms twice a day
(Around 9.00 to 10.00 am and 16.00 to 17.00 pm ) & record in the Annexure-1.
5.2.3 The maximum temperature for rooms shall not be more than 25°C & RH shall be 55±5%.
5.2.4 If the Temperature exceeds the prescribed limits, intimate the concerned Supervisor and Engineering
Department for necessary action. Check whether the AHUs are working or not.
5.2.5 Calibration of Hygrometer shall be performed as per the frequency by external party.
5.3 Area to be monitored are as listed below-
