1. OBJECTIVE
1.1 This describes a Procedure for operation of Fogger Machine.
2. SCOPE
2.1 This Procedure is applicable for operation of fogger machine used for fumigation in Production area and Microbiology Laboratory

5. PROCEDURE
5.1 Operation
5.1.1 Plug the machine into power source. If an extension cord is being use, assure that it is of the proper rating.
5.1.2 Turn the machine power switch to the “ON” position to begin application.
5.1.3 Prepare the disinfectant according to the requirement
5.1.4 Fill the tank of the fogger with the prepared disinfectant.
5.1.5 Set the metering valve low to high according to the requirement.
5.1.6 Switch on the main switch of the fogger and keep the fogger in the area to be fumigated for approximately 15 to 20 minutes
5.1.7 To interrupt spraying turn power switches to the “OFF” position but do not close the metering valve. When spraying is finished,
close metering valve before turning the switch to the “OFF” position. This shall be clear out lines and prevent chemicals from dripping from the nozzle
5.2 Precaution
5.2.1 The area shall be completely closed without any vent / opening
5.2.2 AHU shall be put OFF before fumigation starts.
5.2.3 Never run the machine without spraying reagent.
5.2.4 AHU shall be put ON after 2 hour of fumigation.
