5.1 Precautions
5.1.1 Wear sterile gloves while preparing disinfectant solution
5.1.2 Use 0.20 filters for preparation of disinfectant solution.
5.1.3 Always filter the disinfectant solution in MLT Room.
5.1.4 Wash and sterilize containers used with filtered 70% IPA solution prior to use.
5.2 Materials Required
5.2.1 Purified Water, Disinfectant (Actall, Endomax, IPA, Silvicide), 0.20µ membrane filter, Measuring cylinder
(100ml), SS Buckets and Mops, Container.
5.3 Equipment’s Required
5.3.1 Filtration Assembly, Filtration Flask, and Filtration Tank
5.4 Methodology
5.4.1 Prepare the disinfectant solution of appropriate concentration in solution preparation room as per the required
quantity and disinfectant schedule in clean ss bucket using fresh purified water.

5.4.2 Mop the bucket from outside with filtered 70% IPA, and put the bucket in dynamic pass box.
5.4.3 Enter into the MLT area and bring the disinfectant from dynamic pass box to MLT Room.
5.4.4 Connect the filtration flask with vacuum pump.
5.5.5 Fit the filtration assembly on filtration flask and put the Cellulose nitrate(0.20µ) filter on the holder base of
filtration assembly.
5.5.6 Pour the disinfectant slowly into the filtration cup of filtration assembly and switch on the vacuum pump.
5.4.7 Filter the complete solution and store in container.
5.4.8 Maintain the record for disinfectant solution.
5.4.9 Labeling on Disinfectant container.
